Inspired by the Art of Taekwondo, the martial arts brand KWON was founded by Guenther Schramm in the year 1976. KWON became registered on a national and international level in 1980.
KWON's US Headquarter was founded in 1990 and activly started doing business in the year 1991. Since then KWON has established itself as one of the leading Martial Arts brands when it comes to product assortment and quality, despite hard competition.
KWON's international acitivities allow for greater Market research and better quality control. In the mid 90's the Quality Securing System was put in place to guarantee steady and high quality products throughout the world.
KWON is now activly doing business in over 30 countries of the world and by that also helps promoting the Art of Martial Arts in conjunction with major Federations.
